Buy a brick for £25: target £250,000

The major ‘new’ element of the Wesley Centre is a reinstated three storey East Wing adjoining the rear of the Church. The construction of the East Wing is the largest single aspect of the project, housing many of the facilities for the community to use, including five meeting rooms of varying sizes. The exterior of the East Wing which is being built to harmonise with the historic church building and the surrounding Georgian architecture of Chapel Lane, is clad in brick.

Built over three floors, the East Wing will be fully accessible by passenger lift, and a spiral staircase will link each of the floors.

  • Ground: 30 square metre professional catering kitchen, new cloakrooms, accessible WC with shower, Church vestry, and access to the main building
  • First floor: 43 square metre flexible meeting space, 24 square metre flexible meeting space, double height ‘quiet room’ for personal reflection, double access to the minstrel’s gallery and organ console, and organ chamber
  • Second floor: 76 square metre large flexible meeting space, double height ‘quiet’ room, two small meeting rooms/ offices, and organ chamber

Please buy a brick at £25 to help support the construction of the East Wing, and have your name entered on a permanent ‘Roll of Thanks’ to be displayed in the East Wing foyer.
